The Ridwares

Sunday 16th December

As a follow up to last year's walk, this time it was a test of map and landscape reading. Successfully navigating around the diversions in Pipe Ridware and picking out the route across the fields at Darklane Farm. All this in unseasonally warm December.

Sadly, we miss-timed the hours of The Station Cafeteria at Chasewater Heaths Railway Station. Second choise it had to be. We retreated to "The Saxon Penny". One of the Marston's "Pubs with food" brand.

Start - First Coffee 7¼Km.  Second Coffee 15½Km  Finish 21¼Km. Total ≈ 13¼Miles.  (310m assent)
