Sunday, 19th June

It was 3 of use out for this day of countryside appreciation. Thanks to the taxi we made it across the lake that was blocking our passage on Blythe Bridge Road, Caverswall, or was it Nick's clever arranging? There were too many fathers in our usual hostelry (The Royal Oak) so it was chance to try out Charlie Bassetts at the other end of the village. Thankfully, they saved the day and we left suitable satisfied. Then it was down the valley to have a few indulgent moments curtesy of the Foxfield Railway.

Start - Coffee -7Km. Lunch 13Km.  Finish 18Km. Total ≈ 11Miles.
