Crich

Sunday 30th June

With most of us suffering with bugs or physical ailments the required doctor's notes were acquired. We set off with trams as the distraction or reward according to each person's point of view. A bite of "Queen Mother's" cake (thanks Judith) with the coffee while we watched the trams turn. There was the customary ascending of the Sherwood Foresters Memorial (Opened 1923). Then down the hill to The Old Black Swan and it's ample Sunday lunch.

Start - Coffee 6Km. Lunch 8½Km -Finish 12¼Km. Total ≈ 7½ Miles (352m assent)
