Following weather forcasts that led us to belive it would be a touch too cool for "al fresco" dining we decided to addapt a Winter walk. Then ecountering a field of rape covering our path proved to be my knee's undoing. An assesment over coffee resulted in a agreement to abort the destination of Abbots Bromley and truncate the walk. This gave plenty of time for 2 roast chicken at The Saxon Penny.
